About Me
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in private practice since 2001, after obtaining my master’s degree at Tulane University School of Social Work.

My early practice including facilitating therapy groups in an uptown New Orleans behavioral health center as well as working with adults struggling with chronic mental illness and limited resources--most of whom lived in federally-subsidized group homes. These divergent experiences have honed my skills as a versatile and empathetic practitioner.

Since moving to the Cumberland Plateau, I've again sought to reach diverse client bases, this time in a rural setting.

I have specialized training in CBT and DBT, though use an eclectic approach to meet the needs of my clients.

About My Practice
In my comfortable office in downtown Sewanee, TN, I see adults, older teens and couples with a variety of presenting concerns—grief, depression, anxiety, marital issues, bipolar—though prefer to focus on individual strengths and treatment objectives rather than focusing on diagnoses alone. Every individual is an expert on their own experience and respecting the diversity and wisdom of each client is a core value for me.

Private Pay & Fees
Competitive rates are available for those utilizing private pay. I also offer a sliding scale based on need to ensure therapy remains accessible.
